Welcome to Maidwali, your trusted partner for professional home cleaning and maid services. By booking or using any service through Maidwali, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms ensure transparency, quality, and a safe experience for both our customers and service providers. Please read them carefully before availing of any service.
1. Introduction
Maidwali is a home service platform that connects customers with verified and trained domestic helpers for cleaning, dusting, dishwashing, and general household tasks. We act as a service intermediary, ensuring that you receive reliable, safe, and timely help from our professional maids. By accessing or using Maidwali’s website, app, or booking channels, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2. Customer Responsibilities
To maintain service efficiency and hygiene standards, customers are required to provide cleaning materials at their location.
Cleaning soap, detergent, or surface cleaner
Wiping cloths, mop, bucket, and mug
Access to water, power supply, and restroom facilities (if needed)
Safe storage for cleaning items
A respectful, secure, and clean workspace for the maid
Please note: Maidwali staff do not carry cleaning supplies. If the customer fails to provide these items, service performance may be affected, and the maid reserves the right to decline or limit certain tasks.
3. Service Delivery
All services are provided according to the time slot selected by the customer during booking. We make every effort to assign the same maid for recurring bookings, but this cannot be guaranteed. Service availability depends on staff schedules, area coverage, and demand. Maidwali reserves the right to reschedule or cancel bookings in case of emergencies, bad weather, or technical issues.
4. Booking, Pricing & Payment
Prices for services are clearly mentioned on our website or communicated before confirmation. Payment can be made online through secure payment gateways or in cash (if applicable). Any additional task or time extension must be approved by our support team and may incur extra charges. Taxes (if applicable) will be added to the final bill.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
We understand that plans can change! Cancellations made 24 hours before the scheduled time are fully refundable. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the service slot may attract a minimal service fee. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days via the original payment method.
6. Code of Conduct
We aim to create a respectful environment for both customers and staff. Therefore, customers are expected to treat maids politely and respectfully. Avoid any verbal or physical misconduct. Not request personal favors, errands, or services outside the agreed cleaning tasks. Ensure the safety and dignity of the service provider at all times. Any violation of this code may lead to immediate suspension of services and possible legal action.
7. Safety, Security & Liability
All Maidwali maids go through a background verification and training process before being assigned. However, Maidwali shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during or after the service. Customers are advised to secure all valuables (cash, jewelry, documents, etc.) before service begins. In case of any complaint or issue, report it immediately to our customer care team for resolution.
8. Service Limitations
Maids are trained for domestic cleaning services only.
They are not authorized to perform deep electrical cleaning, plumbing, pest control, or hazardous tasks. Heavy lifting, ladder work, or outdoor cleaning (like terraces) may not be included unless approved. Services are strictly for residential use unless otherwise specified.
9. Health & Hygiene Policy
Maidwali follows all necessary hygiene and safety standards. Maids are instructed to maintain cleanliness, wear masks (if required), and wash hands before starting work. Customers are also expected to provide a safe and hygienic work environment for the staff.
10. Modification of Terms
Maidwali reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The revised version will be updated on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting.
